I get Canon PowerShot ELPH 300 HS last week. My friends bought PowerShot ELPH 300 HS as birthday gift for me, then I unboxing the camera and play for a while. I'm a beginner photographer so i'm surprised with this gift. Currently i have Canon rebel T3i D-SLR, comparing Canon PowerShot ELPH 300 HS with my D-SLR absolutely unfair. But i like the design and picture quality.

The Canon PowerShot ELPH 300 HS pictures and videos quality are great. I get very clear and crisp pictures on indoor or outdoor even in low light, the optical zoom on Canon during video bring excellent 1080p HD video with stereo sound, i think Canon PowerShot ELPH 300 HS beat the others in its class.
The 2.7 inch TFT color LCD is big and clear even under the bright sunlight, Canon PowerShot ELPH 300 HS uses the NBL-4 battery i think it's a standard size, and this is the only drawback the batteries is not life longer, just make sure to get spare battery.
